The main focus of art classes, vacation workshops and
summer art camp is learning to see better, the basis for
good realistic drawing and painting.

Mediums include watercolors, pencil, colored pencils,
pastels, oil pastels, and/or pen and ink. All students
work on their own projects at their own speed. A large
photo reference file is available with everything from
animals, landscapes, people and cartoons. Students also
bring in objects and photos from home to use as reference.


I prefer that students draw and paint what is of interest
to them. I can guide them towards better drawing
and color theory.

Saturday Art Anybody??

I am thinking of running a four week session workshop on Saturdays in May and June. The dates I was thinking about would be May 8, 15, 22, June 5 (not Memorial Day weekend). I would offer a 9am to 11am, 11am to 1pm and a 2pm to 4pm classes.  The cost is $135 per student or $255 if two children from the same family. I know the after school classes should be stopped once the good weather arrives, but I’m trying to get a feel for a Saturday workshop.  If anyone is interested.  Let me know.
